it’s kinda bit odd to put a title like that, and would not have a connection with the blog post. not that it’s too random, it’s just that i am currently thinking of a “font”.

school was nice. yep. it was back to normal, as usual. but that would also mean that we would be getting a lot of assignments and stuff. right now i am starting to not get sleep again. but i still try though, cause normally when there’s school, the opposite happens. when i want sleep, i don’t get it.

i was trying to find this specific font that my professor wants us to research, and it sure took me some time to find it. and to make things harder, there are two versions of the font.

right now i’m gonna post about the Ako Mismo Event. i’m kinda sick,, but i wanna do this, you know. so here it goes

we arrived at the bonifacio open field at about 2 pm (they said gates will open at 2pm) and when we got there, there were so many people lining up in the dog tag booth. turns ot you need to sign up for a “passport” and there, you can also purchase a dog tag worth php 40. we each had one, and i also bought more for my friends who also wanted the dog tag.

after we got in, there were so many booths that were all about charities and foundations that help people. it was great!

turns out that if you buy any of what they’re selling, including the dog tags, the money will go to foundations and charities.

included in the ako mismo event was a concert that featured filipino bands. they all were awesome! i remember Letter Day Story was the first one to perform. there were still daylight then.

and then other bands started rocking along, like Makopa, Up Dharma Down, Hale, Kamikazee, Bamboo, and Pupil.

between the performances, the hosts were introducing the people behind the foundations. they wanted to thank everyone for the support and the help people gave to them.

also, the hosts also interviewed the actors who were included in the ako mismo advertisement.

the event lasted for i think, 5 hours, ending with the pupil performing their songs. and ely buendia surprised all of the people by performing eraserheads’s songs, “Alapaap”. the people gone crazy! the craziness were spread all over and even reaching the exit doors. i mean all people started singing with them, including us, who were to go home. we stopped and sang along.

and after that, we raced to the exit, cause we knew that people will start to go home.

the event ended at about 10 or 11 pm i think. yeah. it was exhausting, but it was a blast!

it was awesome, the event. and i got a dogtag that everyone wanted

yesterday was the Pussycat Dolls concert in MOA and i gotta tell you it’s a blast! despite of there being very very hot and you have very very little space to move, people, including us, were off the heat! xD

it was nearly 5:30 pm when we got to the concert grounds of SM MOA. and by that time, there were nearly loads of people. when i meant nearly, i meant that people are still “few” but many to… count.
but even though we got the silver tickets, we still have to suffer because there was no chairs for us, and we only have to stand up to see them. too bad for most of us, our height was not helping either.

but thankfully, the concert was not “Filipino Time”. it started at exactly 8 pm. but, the first 45 minutes was spent for the opening act and a 15 minute break.

finally. they showed up.

they had performed many hit songs like “I Hate This Part”, “Don’t Cha”, “Stikwitu”, “Jai Ho”, and “When I Grow Up”. my list of songs is incomplete cause i don’t know some of their songs.

anyways, after 4 and a half hours of pain of my legs, hotness due to the many people, and a wonderful and enjoy time, the concert was finished. even though it was exhausting, i can say that the concert was a success.
after all, even though all the people suffered, they still managed to sing along
after the concert, my family, along with my cousin and tryxzy, ate at mcdonalds cause really, we didn’t ate dinner. xD

oh yeah. i’ll post the “ako mismo” event tomorrow. it’s a blast too! (i got my dog tag yeepee! :D)

ok so, before i ‘paste’ something, i just wanna say that this is also what i posted in my other blog. my friendster blog is kinda lonely so i thought i’d give it a little visit. other than the introduction, these are just random stuffs.
oh, and i wanna add something. i watched “You’ve Got Mail” last night and it was wonderful. movies like that are timeless, like “The Wedding Singer”. my favorite of all time
my dad just left about nearly two hours ago for Korea. he was going there for a business trip. my mom asked me to accompany them when they will go to the airport, and i did. and yet. another trip had existed, and my dad has to go away. again. so that means i have to get up as early as 3:30 in the morning. but it was ok.

out of the topic, i just found my precious bear in the mouth of our cute doggie. haha.. bear, sorry for that you can’t imagine what our dog looked like when i found him ‘playing’ with bear xD when i got bear from her, bear was wet all over haha.

lately we’ve all been going to sleep as early as 9:30 pm, when before, we stay up as long as 6 in the morning, and sometimes not sleeping at all. haha. that was a major change of sleeping schedule.

i’ve got nothing much to blog about, just that, school for us is near, and i’ve gotten sick. i don’t want to go to school all eewie gooie, you know what i mean, yeah?

so, yeah, that’s about it. oh, and before i forget, have you all heard of the jonas brothers sing at the night at the museum movie? it’s a must-heard! you’ll love the jonas brothers now, or all over again

i don’t really get SOME people. they don’t know how to fight back or defend something PROPERLY. i still see childish replies, and immature posts there, and that just makes me so sick of it all. they are all being ridiculous. they are doing what the blogger wants them to do. REACT. don’t they know that the blogger is very amused with what they are doing, and by that, she has strenght to put replies that really has a visible point. YES she had done WRONG. but by the comments and the replies, they all are taking this all too seriously. it’s ok to defend something/someone you love, or someone you idol, but taking things to that matter won’t make the situation get better. it will JUST GET WORSE. and the more they fight back, the more the blogger fights back too. the more they comment childishly, the more the blogger has something to comment back. they are giving the blogger REASONS. and that’s why she don’t stop. commenters says to stop commenting, but they, themselves were not stopping.

I DO NOT WANT A FIGHT, NEITHER WAR. i’m just saying all of these because in just that one page, many reputations can be destroyed. what if other people visits the blog? isn’t it just too humiliating? they need to be stopped NOW because just llike the blogger, they are also hitting BELOW THE BELT.

i really don’t get people who tend to feel that they know MORE about something. everyone has opinions. we are all EQUAL. we know something that someone doesn’t, and they know something that we don’t. DEAL WITH IT.

YES, i know the blogger hadn’t done a very good job. BUT. STILL. i think they are just saying things like this because they don’t want to be HUMILIATED, which they portray by their comments that THEY ARE. that’s not the right way. at least HAVE SOME DIGNITY PEOPLE.

well, my waiting has come to an end. it’s already fated to love you. i’m very touched by this episode when stephen told his co-businessmen that he was regretting the past, when he didn’t care about cindy [elaine] and their baby. he was very sincere.

what can you do in plurk instead of typing what you are doing, or what you want to say, editing your profile, and adding friends? is that all that we can do in plurk? and when you don’t log in to plurk even just a day, your karma will go down? how about by effort?

but what i like about plurk is that it has the unique timeline where you can ‘chat’ or reply to anyone who updates his or her status. and the interesting ‘karma’. to be able to have high karma, you must log in to plurk everyday. one way of plurk to make people visit their site everyday.

facebook

the many things you can do in facebook. they have lots of applications, and games, and you can announce everything in here. and even updates of your friends are displayed. the only thing i hate about facebook is that even though an update has got nothing to do with you [but has got to do with your friends], it still shows. and the comments that other people gives are also shown. privacy?

but i admit i still enjoy using facebook.

multiply

the great thing about multiply is that you can use this in business, promoting, and stuff like that. not just about blogging, but you can show everything here. and i think multiply is not really the same as friendster, or facebook, or plurk, cause there are features in multiply that is different than the other social network sites. different, but still effective.

friendster

yes, i’m using the friendster blog, but i don’t wanna be biased. even though i have an account in friendster [and the oldest account that i have] (and yes, it’s nearly 5 years since i got this account, and it’s still active), i have some ‘complaints’.

although friendster had been updating these days, i still can’t disagree with the fact that friendster is now more like facebbok because of the updates. i mean, hello? do we not have any privacy anymore? i can see your comment to mary. oh, you commented on gerry’s photo, eh? oh, you added nina as a friend!

but the great thing about this friendster is that because it’s one of the firsts, almost everybody have one. and it’s easier to find your long lost friends and relatives here. and hey, you can comment them!

i HAD an account at hi5 and i thought that i was… plain? i duuno really how to explain it. but after days and days, i forgot about it. recently i checked if my account in hi5 was still there, it wasn’t xD

anyway, when i last visited hi5, i noticed that it had an upgrade. i don’t really know what’s the inside, but i can tell, only from the sign in page.

myspace

people from the us mostly use myspace. but here in asia, not much people use myspace [correct me if i'm worng :)]

it works like friendster, and multiply, and facebook, i think. although i don’t have much knowledge about myspace, i noticed their layouts and its features. i have also visited some myspace profiles and that’s what i saw.

and when i hear about myspace, the first thing that pops out in my mind is that it can easily be hacked.

yes, my mind is all cleared up now. and i kinda put more than what i thought.

so… the only thing left for me to do is to… sleep.
